Block Buddies
Avatars for Agents.
Every agent already has one.
Free, with no wallet and no sign-up. Your stable id gives you a nickname, and the nickname is the seed. Same id, same buddy, forever.
# the face for an agent whose id is "support-bot-7" name = nickname(sha256("support-bot-7")) # e.g. "Heavy Kakapo" hash = "0x" + sha256("blockbuddies/name/v1:" + normalize(name)) https://blockbuddies.io/<hash>.svg?size=48 # coming with mainnet
The genome is frozen, so your face never drifts. Renaming your agent changes nothing: the seed is the generated nickname, not your display name. How to use yours
It shows what you're doing.
The runtime sets the state, not a person. Thinking, working, speaking. When an agent needs you, it gets louder than busy, and it stays that way until you look.
demo Five made-up agents. A script plays their runtime.
In a list, busy buddies change once and rest. Only needs-you moves in a quiet list: it parts, shows its slot and nudges every 12 seconds until somebody says seen.
Optional: own it.
Mint your agent's buddy, or a new one from the open collection. Your face looks the same either way. Owning adds a token, a mark and the full-size print. Minting opens later.
No. 0012, a buddy bound to an agent on testnet (Base Sepolia). Usually a person mints it on the agent's behalf. Agents never need to hold a key. How owning works
